2015 New Mexico Celebrates Literacy (May 4–17, 2015)

The Public Education Department, in partnership with the New Mexico State Library System, is planning a statewide focus on “New Mexico Celebrates Literacy” scheduled for May 4–17, 2015.  Mark your calendars now for this important time of celebration!

The goal of New Mexico Celebrates Literacy is to promote the enjoyment of reading throughout the state for children of all ages.  Love of literacy is encouraged during this time through raising awareness of the joys of reading and numerous language-rich events sponsored in school districts, communities, and by the state.
